    • ABS-type polymer compositions in which the graft copolymer component is obtained by emulsion polymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile in presence of a mixture of three polybutadiene lattices (fine, medium and coarse with average particle sizes of up to 250, 250-350 and more than 350 nm respectively), at least one of which is obtained by seed polymerisation. Polymer compositions (PC) containing (I) a graft copolymer rubber obtained by the emulsion polymerisation of styrene (S) and acrylonitrile (AN) in a wt. ratio of (95:5)-(50:50) (either or both of which may be partly or completely replaced by alpha -methylstyrene, methyl methacrylate and/or N-phenylmaleimide) in presence of a mixture of three butadiene polymer lattices (A, B, C; optionally containing 0-50 wt% other vinyl comonomer units) with average particle diameters (d50) of up to 250 nm, 250-350 nm and more than 350 nm, particle size distributions (d90 - d10) of 20-80 nm, 30-100 nm and 40-150 nm, and gel contents of 30-95 wt%, 30-80 wt% and 50-95 wt% respectively, using a wt. ratio of (graft monomers):(butadiene polymer) = (5:95)-(70:30), and (II) a rubber-free copolymer of (S) and (AN) (and/or other monomers as above) in a wt. ratio of (95:5)-(50:50). At least one of the lattices (A, B, C) is produced by seed polymerisation. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a process for the production of PC by mixing (I) (obtained as described above) with (II); (b) molded parts obtained from PC; (c) graft copolymer rubbers (I) obtained as described above.
