摘要： An electronic device is provided that includes a housing, an air pressure sensor, and controller. The housing is constructed of a water-tight structure and includes an air hole and a waterproof air-permeable membrane that block off the air hole. The air pressure sensor is disposed in the housing and configured to detect an air pressure value inside the housing. The controller is configured to calculate water pressure exerted on the housing and/or water depth of the housing based on the detected air pressure value inside the housing via the air pressure sensor.

The housing defines an opening and includes an air vent. The waterproof air-permeable membrane blocks off the air vent. The door is shiftably coupled to the housing and movable between a first position that uncovers the opening and a second position that covers the opening. The door and the housing form a watertight structure when the door is in the second position. The air pressure gauge is disposed inside the watertight structure. The watertightness detector is configured to determine whether the housing and the door have maintained a watertight state based on changes in the air pressure inside the watertight structure when the door moves from the first to the second position. The changes in the air pressure are measured by the air pressure gauge.

摘要： A drain current of an FET (4) is controlled to control an output of a buzzer (11), and a gate voltage of the FET (4) is controlled by an operational amplifier (3) for changing a source output of the FET (4) into an inverted input. By such a negative feedback circuit structure, a path for controlling a buzzer output is set to be one system and stability of the buzzer output can be enhanced. A variable power supply (2) for changing an output in accordance with control data of a logic section (1) is set to be a non-inverted input of the operational amplifier (3). Consequently, it is possible to obtain a circuit structure which does not depend on the number of bits of the control data.

The output of the latter (112) is applied through an analog-to-digital converter (113) to a DSP (301), where it is compressed and stored in a memory (303) with the aid of a CPU (302), or it is stored therein as it is. Here, an audio signal from outside which is stored in the portable telephone set can be used as a calling sound or alarm sound. Therefore, selection of calling sounds or alarm sounds in the portable telephone set of the invention is wider than in the conventional one.
