    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation and damage due to an arc discharge by effectively controlling generation of an arc discharge at a time of separation of terminals. SOLUTION: A male terminal 1 comprising a terminal pair is constituted of an insulator 1c at an outer part at least of an area including a part which will contact at a last moment when it leaves out of a female terminal 2, and a surface of the insulator 1c is covered by a conductive layer 1d electrically connected with a terminal body, and the conductive layer 1d will leave last the female terminal 2. While fitting of terminals 1, 2, an electric contact part 22a of the female terminal 2 contacts the terminal body of the male terminal 1. The female terminal is provided with arc discharge contact parts 24, 26 which, while contacting the male terminal at a position nearer a top end side than the electric contact part 22a, is detached from the conductive layer of the male terminal later than the electric contact part when both terminals are separated.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device that can suppress generation of arcs between connection terminal despite being a simple structure, when a power source side connector and a load side connector are inserted one into the other and disconnected, while voltage is being applied to wiring.
      SOLUTION: In synchronism with the insertion and disconnection of the power source side connector 10 and of the load side connector 20, a first connection terminal 12 and a second connection terminal 22 are connected and separated. A contact structure 3 is designed, in an auxiliary connection structure 2, so that the second connection terminal 22 is connected to and separated from a first auxiliary connection terminal 13, when the first connection terminal 12 is connected to and separated from a second auxiliary connection terminal 23 out of timing with connection and separation of the first connection terminal 12 and the second connection terminal 22 or at timing which is advanced in the insertion and retarded in the separation, and that at least the first auxiliary connection terminal 13 and the second auxiliary connection terminal 23 are connected at connection and separation times.
