This recess has a segment-shaped cross section and has a bottom extending continuously over the entire corresponding width of the drill shank. On the driving part a securing part is mounted which is movable substantially in axial direction of the driving part into a position in which the drive transmitting member is arrested in its drive transmitting position and also into a position in which the drive transmitting member is released from its drive transmitting position and action.
