    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient space inside a segment, and to retain the segment immediately after assembling the segment.
      SOLUTION: Segment retaining bodies 12, 13 for freely advancing-retreating or freely expanding-contracting toward the tunnel central side are arranged in a plurality at a proper interval in the circumferential direction in a rear side position on the inside surface side of a skin plate 8 being an outer shell of a shielding machine 1. The segment retaining bodies 12, 13 are made to be a relative positional relation wherein a rear side segment retaining train 15 is located in a position close to a cutting side of the following train, when the segment retaining group arranged in the peripheral direction is made to be one train and two trains are vertically arranged in the direction of the tunnel, and the front side segment retaining body train 14 is located at a substantially center position of the front-most train segment. The segment retaining bodies 12, 13 are composed of an expandable mat 12 or a hydraulic jack 13 freely expandable-contractible by fluid such as liquid, gas, oil or the like.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a shield tunnel to an initial condition by removing a deteriorated seal material and pouring a new seal material again.
      SOLUTION: A plurality of work holes communicating with a seal channel are formed along the seal channel on an inner wall face of the shield tunnel. High pressure water is poured through the work holes to crush the seal material mounted in the seal channel by the high pressure water. The crushed seal material is sucked from the other work hole. The new seal material is poured into a channel from which the seal material is removed. The new seal material is solidified inside the seal channel to restore a water cut-off condition.

SOLUTION: The high function water cutoff check valve 10 includes a check valve body 11 inserted in the backfilling material injection hole 2 and a ring water cutoff rubber 12 placed between the check valve body 11 and the inner surface of the backfilling material injection hole 2. A male screw 13, which is to be fitted into a female screw 4 of the backfilling material injection hole 2, is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the ring water cutoff rubber 12, while a taper surface 14 widening toward the check valve body 11 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the water cutoff rubber 12. A taper surface 15 narrowing toward the water cutoff rubber 12 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the check valve body 11. The taper surface 15 of the check valve body 11 is pushed in to the taper surface 14 of the water cutoff rubber 12. This causes the water cutoff rubber 12 to widen in diameter, which forces the male screw 13 of the water-stopping rubber 12 to firmly stick to the female screw 4 of the injection hole 2 without a gap. SOLUTION: The high shut-off performance stop cock 10 includes a stop cock body 11 inserted in the backfill material injection hole 2 and a ring-shaped shut-off rubber 12 arranged between the stop cock body 11 and the inner surface of the backfill material injection hole 2. A male screw 13 fitted in a female screw 4 in the backfill material injection hole 2 is formed at the outer circumference of the shut-off rubber 12, and a tapered face 14 extended to the stop cock body 11 is formed at the inner circumference. A tapered face 15 becoming narrower toward the shut-off rubber 12 is formed on the outer circumference of the stop cock body 11. The diameter of the shut-off rubber 12 is increased by forcing the tapered face 15 of the stop cock body into the interior of the tapered face 14 of the shut-off rubber.
