摘要： The angular joint of the invention comprises a slide base portion (1) and a sheet metal mobile portion (2) superimposed thereupon, the sheet metal portion (2) including upwardly extending legs (2e) with indenting edges (2g), a bolt (3) being employed in the tightening process of the joint, wherein after the joint has been inserted into the hollow profile members being brought together for connection, the bolt (3) acts so as to exert an upwardly raising force onto the sheet metal mobile portion (2), whilst maintaining base portion (1) at a fixed position, and subsequently leading the sharp indenting edges (2g) of the sheet metal portion (1) to producing an indentation effect into the walls of the corresponding chambers (13a, 13b) of the hollow profiles being angularly connected with the joint, as the joint is being tightened, thereby resulting in a robust, self aligned connection of the hollow profile members.

摘要： A lock is described for sliding aluminium door or window panels, wherein are used discrete hooking and locking mechanisms. The hooking mechanism comprises an oblong hook profile (21) which rotates automatically in a hooking or unhooking position into a vertically extending frame profile (1) which bears a respective recession shaping, as the sliding door/window panel is simply pulled in the opening or shutting direction, respectively. The locking mechanism operates so that, when being controlled by the user, it is set in a position for capturing the hooking mechanism in the hooking position, by capturing the immobilisation arm of the above mentioned, otherwise freely and automatically rotating, oblong hook profile (21).

摘要： Joint for the angular connection of a pair of hollow profile members (50) having an angular configuration corresponding to the angle of the assembled profile members (50) and comprising a slide base portion (2, 2′, 2″), a sheet metal portion (1, 1′) superimposed thereupon and a bolt (5) passing through the sheet metal portion (1, 1′) and screwed into a nut (4) mounted onto the base portion (2, 2′, 2″), wherein tightening of bolt (5) pushes upwardly extending surfaces on either side of portion (1, 1′) whereby their sharp edges indent the walls of the hollow profile members being connected. The indentation and efficient angular connection of the hollow profile members is enhanced through: a) forming of the sharp edges of the sheet metal to align an aberrant edge thereof in an indentation appropriate direction, b) appropriately orienting the sheet metal portion (1, 1′) to comply with a set of predetermined geometrical parameters and c) selectively employing varying embodiments of the slide base portion to obtain rapprochement of the points of indentation of the walls being indented.

摘要： An external lock assembly for sliding doors or windows comprising a pair of reciprocatingly moving sliding bolt carriage handle members (8a, 8b) that move locking bolt members (7a, 7b) and a pair of associated guide blocks (18a, 18b) fixedly mounted onto the body (12) of the lock assembly. At least one of the guide blocks is provided with a recessed region (20) adapted to accomodate an immobilizer member (21) that maintains at least one corresponding locking bolt member at locked condition. The immobilizer member (21) is pivotally mounted with a bottom extending shaft (22) that enters into a hole (20a) of the recessed region (20) and comprises a V-section body extension with adjacent sides (23a, 24a) and extreme edges (23, 24) respectively, while a slot (21a) of the immobilizer member (21) is adapted to receive a key implement (30) by means of which it is being rotated through a predetermined arc to bring one of the extreme edges (23, 24) thereof in abutment with a bottom end of a V-sectioned body portion (26) of the guide block thereby providing an immobilized status of the associated locking bolt member at a locked condition.
