    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection mirror having a high reflectance in a visible light region and excellent insulating property.
      SOLUTION: The reflection mirror has a metal layer including silver or aluminum and a polyurea layer, deposited in this order on one surface of a substrate. Since the reflection mirror has the polyurea layer, a short circuit between the reflection mirror and the electric circuit of a light emitting device is prevented when the mirror of the present invention is applied to the backlight unit of a liquid crystal display or the like, and thereby, the back light unit is free from failure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a reflection mirror which has high reflectivity in a visible light region, and has excellent moisture resistance and high surface resistance. SOLUTION: The reflection mirror 10 has a base material 11, a silver film 13 formed on the base material 11, a protective film 14 which is formed on the silver film 13 and is composed of a metal oxide or hard carbon and a silicon oxide film 15 formed on the protective film 14. In the manufacturing method of the reflection mirror 10, the silicon oxide film 15 is formed by applying a coating solution containing a silicon oxide precursor onto the protective film 14.
