    • A spray dispenser including a hollow casing, having sockets in each of which a pair of O-ring seals is mounted. A ball valve is urged toward one of the O-ring seals of each socket. A housing is removably mounted in the casing. Hollow lugs on the housing each having a cylindrical outer face are received inside O-ring seals in sealing relation therewith. Each lug unseats the associated ball valve. When the housing is removed, the ball valve seats against one O-ring seal when the housing is removed from the casing while the lug is in sealing engagement with the other O-ring seal. Compressed air and liquid under pressure are directed through the sockets to a dispensing valve member on the housing, and the pressure need not be released when the housing is removed.

    • A cable bend radius control attachment is used in combination with a cable-routing, vertical, slotted channel member defined by walls and including a plurality of longitudinally spaced cable slots. The cable slots are adapted for receiving and distributing optical fiber cable into and out of the vertical channel member. The attachment includes a generally U-shaped flange having an inner edge portion secured to a mouth of the cable slot and an opposing outer edge portion spaced from the mouth of the cable slot. The flange has a generally convex, arcuate surface between its inner and outer edge portions for extending outwardly from the channel member at a mouth of the cable slot. The flange defines a predetermined minimum bend radius for cable entering or exiting the channel member through the cable slot. The flange includes a base and opposing resilient sides integrally-formed with the base. The opposing sides are flexible inwardly to insert the inner edge portion of the flange into the mouth of the cable slot, and recovering to hold the flange in position at the mouth of the cable slot.

    • A self-cleaning dry shaver is disclosed having a reel-type rotary blade and a retractable guard for the perforated shear plate. With the guard retracted, cuttings and other debris removed during the shaving procedure are collected in a chamber within the dry shaver housing. After use, and while the blades are rotating, the retractable guard is withdrawn from the shaver housing to cover and close the perforated shear plate, while opening axial air inlet ports. Simultaneously with this act, the cuttings and other shaving debris are expelled from the collection chamber to the atmosphere through a conduit which is opened by withdrawal of the retractable guard from the shaver housing.

    • The invention provides for an optical fiber strain relief system and a method for using the same. The optical fiber strain relief system includes a tab, a mass fusion splice protection sleeve and a tray for securing the tab and sleeve. The tab has substantially rectangular members, having long dimensions extending in the direction of fiber optic ribbon cables. The substantially rectangular members have widened portions and are joined at the widened portions by a short member. The substantially rectangular members of the tab fold over fiber optic ribbon cables, bending the short adjoining member, and thereby attaching to the fiber optic ribbon cables. Once attached to the fiber optic ribbon cables, the tab protects the optical fibers from bending and tensile forces and provides strain relief. The tray has retainers for securing the tabs and mass fusion splice protection sleeves to further protect the optical fibers and provide strain relief. The tray is fitted with a cover.

    • The front panel of a table saw has a lever which controls the elevation of the saw blade relative to the saw table. The elevation control lever is also coupled to a bevel control means for tilting the saw blade (and its driving motor) with respect to the table. The combination of these translational and bevel movements results in a relatively large traverse of the elevation control lever. The elevation control lever projects through an opening in the front panel of the housing for the table saw, and this opening is of sufficient size and shape to accommodate the total excursion of the elevation control lever in its traverse. An articulated cover means is provided within the housing to prevent dust from entering into the housing via the opening, as well as to prevent inadvertent contact with the operating mechanism. This articulated cover means includes a first cover member which is disposed substantially flush against the opening on the inside of the front panel. This first cover member, which pivots in response to pivotal movement of the bevel control means (and the elevation control lever coupled thereto) has a size and shape sufficient to substantially cover the opening in the front panel in all positions of the bevel control means. The elevation control lever extends through an opening in the first cover member, and the opening is elongated to accommodate the translational movement of the elevation control lever. A second cover member is carried by the elevation control lever and substantially covers the elongated opening in the first cover member. The combination of the first and second cover members thus provides for a total coverage of the opening in the front panel of the saw housing, for all translational movements of the elevation control lever, and at any given setting of the bevel control means.
