摘要： The present invention relates to innovative, nanoparticle-modified polyisocyanates, a process for their preparation and to their use in coating compositions and adhesives. The process comprises the steps of 1) reacting A) polyisocyanates with B) alkoxysilanes, and subsequently 2) incorporating by dispersion inorganic particles, optionally surface modified, having an average particle size of less than 200 nm as determined by means of dynamic light scattering in dispersion, where the alkoxysilanes are according to formula (I) Q-Z-SiXaY3-a (I) in which Q is an isocyanate-reactive group, X is a hydrolysable group, Y is identical or different alkyl groups, Z is a C1-C12 alkylene group and a is an integer from 1 to 3.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for preparing binders which contain 1) allophanate groups, 2) groups that react with ethylenically unsaturated compounds with polymerization on exposure to actinic radiation (radiation-curing groups) and 3) optionally NCO-reactive groups, by reacting at temperatures ≦130° C. A) one or more NCO-functional compounds containing uretdione groups with B) one or more compounds that contain isocyanate-reactive groups and groups that react with ethylenically unsaturated compounds with polymerization on exposure to actinic radiation (radiation-curing groups), and then C) with one or more saturated, hydroxyl-containing compounds other than B), at least one of these compounds having an OH functionality of ≧2, in the presence of D) a catalyst containing one or more ammonium salts or phosphonium salts of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carboxylic acids, the reaction with compounds C) taking place at least proportionally with the formation of allophanate groups. The present invention also relates to the binders obtained by the process of the invention.

The present invention also relates to a composite system containing two adherends bonded together with the reactive composition according to the invention.

The process includes reacting A) an anhydride-group-free polycarboxylic-acid component with B) an isocyanate-functional component having an (average) isocyanate functionality of at least 1.8, at an equivalent ratio of carboxylic acid groups to isocyanate groups of from 1.2:1 to 120:1. The polyisocyanate-modified polycarboxylic acids are solid below 40° C. and liquid above 130° C., and have an average carboxylic acid functionality of at least 1.8, a content of free carboxylic acid groups of from 4.0 wt. % to 80.0 wt. % and a content of amide groups of from 0.4 wt. % to 32.5 wt. %.
