    • A feeder bowl for a bird or other animal in a cage includes a bowl having an open top and a closed bottom and has a notch extending outwardly therefrom between the open top and the closed bottom, a clamp ring extending around at least a portion of an exterior circumference of the bowl and positioned between the open top and the notch, and an attachment mechanism connected to the clamp ring for affixing the clamp ring to a cage. The bowl has an upper lip extending outwardly of the open top and having a greater circumference than the bowl below the upper lip. The notch is roll formed on the bowl so as to extend around a circumference of the bowl below the upper lip. The clamp ring has a curved flange affixed thereto. The curved flange is juxtaposed against an exterior surface of the bowl between the upper lip and the notch. The clamp ring includes a cross member having a curved flange affixed thereto. The curved flange of the cross member is juxtaposed against an exterior surface of the bowl on the opposite side of the bowl from the curved flange of the clamp ring. An expansion mechanism is connected to the clamp ring so as to vary a compressive force of the clamp ring upon the exterior surface of the bowl.

    • An adjusting mechanism is disclosed for the press head of a glassware forming machine of the rotating table type having a plurality of forming units circumferentially spaced for rotation about the axis of the machine. Adjustment is effected by rotating a parallel adjusting rod, which is engaged to a threaded rod. Rotation varies the pressure of the plunger by changing the position of a pinion on the threaded rod, through spring compression or pinion gear rotation, to which the stop lever on the plunger steam will contact. Each forming unit is capable of producing at least two glassware articles per machine cycle. A remote ram spring adjustment means provides operator control of ram spring pressure for each plunger at an accessable height and location.

    • A new delivery system for use with glassware forming machines of the rotating table type having a plurality of continuously rotating spaced forming units spaced about the periphery thereof. The delivery system includes a plurality of gob guiding units each having a scoop, trough and deflector secured to a corresponding oscillating frame. A vertical pivot shaft supports each scoop and is operatively connected with an actuating means to move the corresponding scoop laterally between a delivery position and a reject position. The actuating means is responsive to a plurality of gob reject actuators in order to enable selective delivery or rejection of individual gobs of selected forming units.
