    • The device comprises at least a continuous movable flexible member (23) carrying a series of contact members (29, 29A, 29B) for the products (R; R1; RN) aligned with one another. A section of the movable flexible member is devoid of said contact members to allow the trimmings (Rc, Rt) to fall. At least a longitudinal supporting element (21) of the products (R; R1, RN), is also provided, parallel to the movable flexible member, the reciprocal position of said flexible member and of said longitudinal element being such that the products advance in contact with the contact members (29, 29A, 29B) of the flexible member and with the longitudinal element. A pusher (11) inserts the series of products with the respective trimmings between the flexible member and the longitudinal supporting member. The flexible member (23) is controlled with a variable speed to carry the section thereof devoid of contact members time by time to the level of the head and tail trimmings (Rc; Rt) of two consecutive series of products.

    • The device comprises: a path (12) for the products, extending from products and trimmings entry position and a product deliver position, the trimmings being removed between said two positions; along said path, a movable flexible member (3) to retain and move the products and the trimmings and an opposite longitudinal fixed element (13) to retain said trimmings (R) extending along said path parallel to a first branch of said flexible member, at a distance from it to allow the products to advance in contact with said flexible member and with said fixed longitudinal element; at least a pusher (15) movable along a feed trajectory, to feed the series of products with the respective trimmings to said path (12). The pusher feeds the products and the trimmings between the flexible member and the fixed longitudinal element. The feed trajectory of the pusher intersects the path of the products between the flexible member (3) and the fixed longitudinal element (13), overlapping in the final stretch the path of the products in contact with said flexible member and said fixed longitudinal element.

    • The printing machine comprises a central roller (3); at least one printing unit (5) with a cliché roller (7) and means (9, 13) for applying ink to the cliché roller. A control unit (50) in also provided, interfaced with at least one actuator (19) to move the printing unit towards the central roller. The printing unit (5) comprises at least one load sensor (41) and at least one position transducer (43) associated with the cliché roller, interfaced with the control unit. This latter is programmed to perform a calibration of the printing unit with a first step to move the printing unit towards the central roller until reaching a zero position defined on the basis of a signal of said at least one load sensor.
