    • PURPOSE: To enhance reliability and safety, simplify manufacture, assembling, mounting and installation, by using a tappet for controlling a terminal end of a conductor to be inserted between a spring plate and a connection wall in a cavity of a case so as to fix the terminal end thereof on the connection wall by the presence of the spring plate. CONSTITUTION: With a spring plate 9 positioned around a rotation axis 12, an end of a locking arm of the spring plate 9 is located in the proximity of a connection wall 6 to insert an end 2A of a conductor 2 between the connection wall 6 and the end of the locking arm without applying a force. When an outer end of a raised part 20 of a tappet 10 is forcibly pressed to force the tappet 10, the other end of the tappet 10 presses a second or compression arm of the spring plate 9. Initially, the spring plate 9 is first rotated on the rotary shaft 12 to bring the compression arm into overlapped abutment on the tappet 10, and then bringing the locking arm into abutment on the connection wall 6 with a terminal end of the conductor 2 in between.

    • PURPOSE: To connect electrical wires without stripping the wires by applying a lateral pressure of a central pushing member until a punching point punches an insulating part of the electrical wire to make contact with a conductive strand. CONSTITUTION: Power transmission electrical wires 1 are connected by means of connection terminals, which comprises at least two end parts with tube-shaped taps or thread grooves in a rigid body 4 made of metal or molded insulation resin. A stopper 6 is threadedly fastened to each tube-shaped end part of the body 4, and the electrical wires 1 are accommodated in a body portion of the body 4 of each stopper 6. An electric wire passage opening of the tube-shaped end part is divided by a common bottom wall surface wherein a spike 9 is held, The spike 9 projects into the respective electrical wire passage opening to form an electric wire punching point. The electrical wires 1 are inserted from a duct 18 into a space between a punching point and the stopper 6 by loosening a thread on the stopper 6, and then the stopper 6 is threadedly fastened to press the electrical wires 1 on the punching point. Consequently, 1 the punching point penetrates an insulation layer of the electrical wires to provide electrical interconnection.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a connector so as to eliminate the need of an intermediate member by enabling an internal conductor connection spike to be taken in and out even when the connector is installed by means of a base member. CONSTITUTION: A pair of connection spikes 16 are disposed on a base part in the direction of crossing a coaxial cable fixing passage constituted of a half passage provided on a joint plane between complementary parts. The connection spikes 16 are symmetrically disposed to hold a center surface therebetween in the longitudinal direction of the half passage. A head end part of the spikes 16 enters inside the half passage to pierce through a sheath on both sides of a central conductor of a cable, and thus it can plunge into a tube-shaped external conductor. The connection spikes 16 are made of a hard material having high conductivity, and are directly welded to a conductive track provided in a supporter 5. For this purpose, the connection spikes 16 are fastened to a base member 2 so that a leading edge for constituting a pin projects from a bearing surface 2A of the base member 2. After removing a bracket member 3 beforehand, when the cable is disposed inside the half passage of the base member 2, the coaxial cable is pressed onto the connection spikes 16 in the passage of the connector.
