    • A markup language document has data entry fields corresponding to markup language nodes that are arranged in a hierarchical structure of parents having child nodes. The hierarchical position of each markup language node in the hierarchical structure is expressed as a corresponding fragment of the markup language. For each parent, a markup language fragment is formed so as to have a plurality of portions each corresponding to the fragment of a respective child node without repeating any fragment of the respective child nodes. Portions that respectively correspond to the child nodes are used for data entry with the data entry fields, where an electronic form is displayed on a user interface for interactive data entry. The electronic form has one or more data entry fields each corresponding to one of the data entry fields of the structured markup language document and into which data can be entered.

    • A storage container including an outer case having a bottom tray and a cover hinged to it and a tongue assembly in the bottom tray. The tongue assembly can be integrally formed, with the bottom tray and/or the cover or separately formed and subsequently inserted into the bottom tray. When separately formed it can include an outer frame and a tongue extending from the frame side to which it is pivotally attached to the frame center. The tongue has a compact disc retainer mounted thereon for fitting into a center opening of a compact disc and holding the compact disc in the frame center when the tongue is in a "down" position. When the tongue is in an "up" position, pivoted relative to the one frame side, the compact disc is lifted up away from the frame and bottom tray for easy access thereto. The tongue, the frame and the hinge therebetween are preferably integrally formed together and as one unit. According to one embodiment the tongue is formed with a natural upward or raised bias, an elastic memory. A locking mechanism secured at least in part to the frame releasably holds the tongue in its down position. Another embodiment allows the tongue to be raised by pressing down on the end opposite to the free end, with a see-saw movement.

    • A preform resin immersion process (PRIP) for impregnating resin into a preform for the fabrication of composite structures. The resin contains a heatactivated catalyst and a thixotropic agent which maintain the viscosity of the resin at selected low level during the resin immersion process. The dry preform is placed in an impregnation vessel, and the resin is held in a resin storage vessel, with both vessels initially held at vacuum of about 5.0 mm Hg torr to draw off any air or volatiles. Pressure is introduced into the resin storage vessel, causing the resin to flow through a line into the impregnation vessel which is still held at vacuum conditions. When enough resin is in the impregnation vessel to completely immerse the preform, the flow of resin to this tank is stopped. Once the resin has completely permeated the preform, the resin is drawn back into the resin storage vessel, and the saturated preform is raised up from the impregnation vessel so that the excess resin drips off into collection means. By carefully controlling the thixotropic nature and the viscosity of the resin along with the employment of a latent, heat-activated catalyst, the precisely correct amount of resin remains in the preform after the drip collection step is finished. The saturated preform is then conveyed to a conventional tool for final curing at high temperature and pressure.
