摘要： Techniques for video conferencing are disclosed. In one embodiment, a mirror assembly can be used to position a mirror in front of a camera, reflecting a view of the camera downward towards a whiteboard or other drawing surface, allowing a user to show a drawing during a video conference. In another embodiment, video data and audio data of a user in a video conference can be analyzed to determine what portions of the video data and audio data should be transmitted to a remote participant in the video conference. Unintentional input supplied by the user in the video data and audio data may be used to determine which portions of the video data and audio data to transmit.

摘要： Technologies for manipulating a graphical user interface (GUI) of a display of a computing device include a touch screen of the display capable of receiving user input via physical contact of the user's fingers. The computing device determines whether the user has initiated multi-finger input gesture from which and a hand rotation angle may be determined based on touch points corresponding to the physical contact between the user's fingers and the touch screen. Based on the hand rotation angle, the computing device may take an action on the GUI, such as rotate an orientation of the GUI and/or display a virtual keyboard on the GUI relative to the hand rotation angle and/or the touch points. Other embodiments are described herein and claimed.

摘要： While setting up a fixed wireless system, each subscriber radiotelephone is configured to a permanent home cell. Subscribers located at the border of a cell may be configured to multiple cells for better coverage. The signal levels at the border subscriber's position are received and the mean values of each determined. These mean values are listed in descending order. If the largest mean value is greater than a predetermined threshold, the subscriber is configured to only the home cell. If the largest mean value is within a predetermined range, the second largest mean value is evaluated to determine if it is within the predetermined range. If so, the subscriber is configured to both serving cells. If the second largest mean value is outside the predetermined range, the subscriber is configured to only the home cell.
