摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peristaltic pump having reduced pressure pulsation. SOLUTION: This cassette has an elastic sheet adhered to or mechanically mounted on a rigid base. One flow path corresponding to a flow path formed in the elastic sheet is formed in the rigid base. The cassette is used in combination with the peristaltic pump which has a pump head roller mounted radially from the rotating shaft of a pump motor for compressing an elastic flow path against the rigid base being operated. The flow path formed in the rigid base has a smooth fluid line with no sharp edge or no rapid directional change and corresponds to a fluid groove path formed in the elastic sheet. Herein, a transition region which has a relatively constant cross section approximate to the cross section of the flow path formed in the rigid base or of the fluid groove path formed in the elastic sheet is provided throughout the length in such a form that the whole fluid passage has a relatively constant cross section.
