摘要： An ink-jet printing apparatus, a cap and an ejection recovery method can satisfactorily perform a recovery process for respective ejection openings having different ink flow resistances and permit down-sizing. The ink-jet printing apparatus includes a printing head having a plurality of ejection openings, a cap for covering the ejection opening face where a plurality of ejection openings of the printing head are formed, and a recovery unit for suctioning ink from the ejection openings covered by the cap. The ink-jet printing apparatus also includes a sealing member for sealing predetermined ejection openings among the plurality of ejection openings provided within the cap.

摘要： An ink cartridge which is detachably mountable to a liquid ejection type recording device including a liquid ejecting head for ejecting liquid onto a recording material while scanning the recording material in a direction crossing with a feeding direction of the recording material, and a recovery unit for sucking the liquid through a nozzle of the liquid ejecting head. The ink cartridge includes a receiving portion for receiving the liquid discharged from the liquid ejecting head by the recovery unit; a liquid containing portion for accommodating the liquid to be supplied to the liquid ejecting head; and a connecting portion for connecting the receiving portion and the suction recovery unit, wherein the connecting portion is disposed at a position upstream of a front end surface portion of the ink cartridge with respect to an inserting direction in which the ink cartridge is inserted into the liquid ejection type recording device.

摘要： An adhesive sheet for affixation of a wafer includes a first substrate, first adhesive layer arranged on the first substrate, second substrate arranged on the first adhesive layer, and second adhesive layer arranged on the second substrate. A chemical reaction which causes reduction in the adhesion of the first adhesive layer and a chemical reaction which causes reduction in the adhesion of the second adhesive layer are different. A method for processing using this sheet includes the steps of affixing the sheet to a wafer, dicing the wafer with the sheet affixed thereto, peeling the first substrate and first adhesive layer away from the diced wafer by reducing the adhesion of the first adhesive layer and, thereby, dividing the wafer into a plurality of chips, and peeling the second substrate and second adhesive layer away from each of the chips by reducing the adhesion of the second adhesive layer.
