    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the floating prevention of a manhole in the case of an earthquake although the base of the manhole is formed in a plane and the base of the manhole is easy to receive the effects of a water pressure and a water flow due to a liquefaction phenomenon because a side face on the vertical pipe side of the manhole is formed in a vertical shape to the base though there is the problem that a floating phenomenon due to the liquefaction phenomenon in the case of the earthquake is easy to occur in conventional manholes.
      SOLUTION: A floating preventive block for the manhole is formed in a constitution in which a conical block is installed on the base for the manhole for dispersing the water pressure and the water flow to the manhole due to the liquefaction phenomenon. Consequently, the dispersion of the water pressure and the water flow is realized by side faces at inclinations of the block and a buoyancy can be reduced. The effects of the water pressure and the water flow received by the side faces of the vertical pipe of the manhole can be lightened because the outside diameter of the block is projected from that of the manhole, and the floating phenomenon of the manhole can be prevented because a repulsion against the water pressure and the water flow is generated by a pressure by soil and sand or the like in the projecting surfaces.
