摘要： A machine translation system includes a translation processor, a display, and a display controller. The display has original and translated sentence display sections. The display controller has a display managing section and a display format controller. The translation processor translates a given original sentence by accessing a dictionary. The translated and original sentences are displayed in the translated and original sentence display sections, i.e., right and left display sections of the display. The original and translated sentences are managed by the display magaging section in predetermined units of translation processing. The display format controller controls the original and translated sentences such that start lines of a given group thereof are horizontally aligned with each other.

摘要： A language expression data base is adapted to store expression data of an input sentence of a first language to be translated into a second language and the expression data stored in the language expression data base is renewed under the control of an expression data input unit. An input basic form sentence structure data extracted from the input sentence of the first language is translated into a basic form sentence structure data of the second language at the sentence structure transfer unit. A basic form sentence of the second language is obtained on the basis of the basic form sentence structure data of which an expression is then modified according to the expression data stored in the language expression data base, and a modified sentence of the second language is displayed on a display through an output unit.

摘要： A mobile IP communication scheme in which the mobile computer can be operated using the mobile communication protocol such as Mobile IP even in the case where the home network is operated by the dynamic address allocation protocol such as DHCP is disclosed. 摘要： A scheme for realizing a high speed data transfer between memory spaces shared among computers in a distributed computer system, without requiring a complicated and inefficient communication protocol processing at the computer side. One region which is at least a part of a virtual memory space or a real memory space managed by one computer and another region which is at least a part of a virtual memory space or a real memory space managed by another computer are shared between these two computers, and a dedicated virtual connection is set up between these two shared regions. Then, a data transfer between these two shared regions is carried out by using the dedicated virtual connection. A virtual connection identifier of the dedicated virtual connection is registered into a corresponding page table entry in the page table, so that this virtual connection identifier can be obtained at a time of the data transfer by referring to the page table alone.
