摘要： There is provided a radio frequency circuit device for multi-band and multi-mode which is low in a circuit loss, and a mobile communication terminal using the radio frequency circuit device. The radio frequency circuit device has a first path 110 that includes an amplifier 10a that amplifies signals of at least two modulation techniques in power, a matching network 20 that is connected to the amplifier and a duplexer 50 and allows the matching network to be coupled with an antenna, and a second path 111 that does not include the duplexer and allows the matching network to be coupled with the antenna. The first path is selected when the amplifier amplifies one of the signals of at least two modulation techniques, and the second path is selected when the amplifier amplifies another signal. An output impedance of the amplifier is matched with an impedance when viewing the antenna side from the amplifier in the first path and the second path.

摘要： An RF power amplifier device includes a driver stage amplifier, a first RF amplifier, a second RF amplifier and a DC voltage converter operated by first, second and third external power supply voltages. The output of the driver stage amplifier is supplied to the inputs of the first and second RF amplifiers. An effective device size of the first RF amplifier is set to a device size larger than that of the second RF amplifier. The third external power supply voltage is supplied to the DC voltage converter, so that the DC voltage converter generates a fourth operating power supply voltage corresponding to a low voltage and supplies it to an output terminal of the second RF amplifier. An output terminal of the first RF amplifier can be supplied with the second external power supply voltage without via the DC voltage converter.

摘要： The present invention provides a technology capable of achieving an improvement in the characteristic of a power amplifier when a power amplifier mounted onto mobile communication equipment such as a cellular phone is comprised of the balance amplifier. One feature of an embodiment resides in that each of passive parts disposed in a low-band signal negative path and each of passive parts disposed in a low-band signal positive path are placed in positions where they are symmetric with respect to a center line of a semiconductor chip. Thus, the symmetry between the low-band signal negative path and the low-band signal positive path is enhanced. As a result, a loss in matching due to the difference between the low-band signal negative path and the low-band signal positive path can be enough reduced, and the characteristic of a low-band signal balance amplifier can be enhanced.
