The electrical control unit 50 corrects the reference drive torque on the basis of both the proportional term of friction loss of the automatic shift 30 which varies according to the rotation speed of the turbine and the constant term of friction loss of the automatic shift 30, and estimates vehicle mass on the basis of an estimated drive force based on this and vehicle acceleration.
