CONSTITUTION:In a case where check valve assemblies 50a and 50b are fitted in an opening 12C of a suction chamber R2 with the top portion 53a thereof faced upwardly, a projection 12e interferes with the top portion 53a and the mounting of the check valve asemblies and 50b is prevented. Accordingly, there is no way for the check valve assemblies 50a and 50b other than fitting and mounting with the top portions 53 faced downwardly, and it is possible to mount the check valve assemblies without error in the correct direction.

    • PURPOSE: To stabilize the brake pedal stroke in a captioned cylinder by closing a nonreturn valve for intercepting the connection between the first pressure chamber and a reservior for operating a piston and opening the nonreturn valve mechanically and forcedly for returning the piston to a normal position.
      CONSTITUTION: A nonreturn valve 17 to permit the introduction of liquid from a reservoir 16 to the first pressure chamber 7 and a relief valve 18 to provide for the upper limit value of pressure are equipped in a connecting port 1c of a master cylinder to be used for a hydrostatic brake device for a car. Normally, the first pressure chamber 7 is connected with the reservoir 16, as a small diameter part 2b of a piston 2 is pushed to a control member 27 and a support body 21 and a valve body 20 of the nonreturn valve 17 are inclined round the support of a contact point A for giving a gap between the seal operation part of the valve body 20 and a valve seat 19. For operating a brake, the nonreturn valve 17 is closed to increase the pressure in the first pressure chamber 7 by a stable pedal stroke. For releasing the brake, the nonreturn valve 17 is forcedly opened, and necessary braking liquid is introduced into the first pressure chamber 7 for obtaining an effective control.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the brake lock wait time by setting reference deceleration per each of car speed zones provided in plurality comparing the said reference deceleration with the car deceleration, determining existence of any tire lock, and controlling the actuation of a brake lock. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration/deceleration arithmetic circuit 16 computes deceleration by using the car speed signal from a car speed signal generator circuit 14 and a zone discriminator circuit 18 determines the car speed zone to which the car speed belongs. A deceleration discriminator circuit 20 compares the reference deceleration that is set corresponding to the discriminated car speed zone with the computed deceleration and discriminates the existence of a tire lock. When the presence of the tire lock is discriminated, the output of the brake lock signal of an electromagnetic brake 10 is inhibited by a holding inhibit circuit 22. On the other hand, when a long pulse generator circuit 26 detects the stop of a wheel, the long pulse signal is output for a specified period of time. While the long pulse signal is being output, the output of the brake signal is inhibited in the same way.

    • PURPOSE:To make an intensifying effect so accurate at time of abnormality and improve the extent of durability at time of normality by interconnecting both master and wheel cylinders and holding them at each interrupting position of both low and high pressure side ports at a time when source pressure being fed to a booster is more than the setting valve, and when it is less than the setting value, holding the master cylinder in the interconnecting position at the low pressure side and the wheel cylinder in the interconnecting position at the high pressure side, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When pressure in a pressure source 14 is more than the setting value, hydraulic pressure generated by a master cylinder 11 is given to a wheel cylinder 19 as it is, and a selector valve B interconnects these cylinders 11 and 19, thereby interrupting a low pressure side port 28 and a high pressure side port 29 of a booster A. Therefore durability in this booster A is improved. Next, when pressure in the pressure source 14 goes down or malfunctions, a vacuum motor 49 of the selector valve B holds a piston 48 at a reset position irrespective of actuation of the cylinder 11 in proportion as the pressure going to less than the setting value. Then, the cylinder 11 is interconnected to the port 28 of the booster A, and the cylinder 19 is interconnected to the port 29 as well. Therefore an intensifying effect in the booster A is accurately securable.
