摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a medical instrument which prevents the reduction of a measurement accuracy resulted from carelessness when a patient handles the medical instrument, and at the same time, reduces a psychological burden of the patient who uses the medical instrument.
SOLUTION: This protective cover 30 has a plate section 32 which can substantially cover the surface of the medical instrument, and side sections 34a to 34c which are integrally provided on the outer edge in a manner to surround the plate section 32 and form an approximately right angle to the plate section 32. A window section 36 is provided on the plate section 32. The opening shape of the window section 36 is approximately the same as a display section of the medical instrument on which the protective cover is fitted, and a user of the medical instrument can read a numerical figure or a message displayed on the display section from the window section 36. Also, an opening part 38 is provided on the plate section 32. The opening shape of the opening part 38 is approximately the same as the switch of the medical instrument, and thus, the user can operate the switch.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrapping apparatus by which a lancet and a measurement strip can easily be removed and housed without touching them directly and a risk of infection of a disease to a person excepting for a user is lowered.
SOLUTION: A top means is provided with: a first guiding part for stopping a blood glucose level measuring instrument to be introduced to the scrapping apparatus at a prescribed position; and a second guiding part for stopping a punctuation device to be introduced to the scrapping apparatus at the prescribed position. A head means is provided with a switch part and an elastic engaging part. When the lancet or the measurement strip is not introduced to an opening part, the elastic engaging part closes the opening part. When the lancet or the measurement strip is introduced to the opening part, the second guiding part and the switch part constituting the opening part pressurize the lancet or the measurement strip inserted into the opening part by cooperating with each other.
