    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer that is formed for a rolling bearing having an inner ring, an outer ring and at least a double-row contact roller arranged between raceways formed at the inner ring and the outer ring.SOLUTION: A spacer comprises: first and second portions 11, 12 which face each other; a first side 13 laterally extending between the first portion and the second portion and connecting the first portion and the second portion; and a second side 14 facing the first side and extending toward the first portion 11 from the second portion 12. The first and second portions 11, 12 define a pocket 15 which is constituted so as to receive at least a two-row overlapped roller together with the first side and the second side 13, 14. A free end 14c of the second side forms an opening 16 together with the first portion 11 in order to open the pocket 15 sideways at a side opposite to the first side 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing device which is easily manufactured and assembled, is small-sized and inexpensive, and effectively distributes preload in the axial direction on an inner side ring.SOLUTION: A roller bearing device includes an inner ring 3, an outer ring 2 and two sets of rolling members 4, 5 which are arranged between tracks 9, 13, 10, 14 formed on the inner ring and the outer ring 2, 3. Therein, the rolling member 4 includes at least one roller 6 capable of enduring a stress in the axial direction, the rolling member 5 includes an angular contact roller 8 capable of enduring both of a stress in the radial direction and the stress in the axial direction, and the inner ring and the outer ring 3, 2 are coaxial to a rotation axis X-X of a roller bearing 1. The roller 6 includes a first swing axis Y-Yinclined at a first angle αof 45-95° with respect to the rotation axis X-X and the roller 8 includes a second swing axis Y-Yinclined at a second angle αof 0-45° with respect to the rotation axis X-X.
