    • A plate type heat pipe, a method for manufacturing the same and a package unit thereof are provided to maintain heat radiation effect by preventing coupled matter from being entered to a receiving room so as not to affect characteristics and function of a capillary structure and operating fluid. A plate type heat pipe comprises a package unit(2) and coupled matter. The package unit includes a first case(21) and a second case(22) combined with each other. The first case has a work zone(211) and a blocking portion(213) surrounding the work zone and protruded between the work zone and a first adhering portion(212). The second case is covered by the first case, and has a cover portion(221) located above the work zone and a second adhering portion(222) located on the first adhering portion. The coupled matter is located between the first adhering portion and the second adhering portion, and couples the first adhering portion to the second adhering portion.

    • A method for producing a plate type heat pipe is provided to increase air sealing degree and fabricate a joint layer of a multi-component alloy, and a method for joining a case of the plate type heat pipe is provided. A method for producing a plate type heat pipe comprises: (A) providing a hollow case made of a metallic material, the case has a first case and a second case united with the first case to define a housing space, a first joint is formed on the periphery of the first case, a second joint corresponding to the first joint is formed on the periphery of the second case, and a hole is formed in the first case or the second case such that the housing space is in communication with the outside through the hole; (B) forming a joint layer, by a vapor deposition method, on one surface and the other corresponding surface of at least one of the first joint and the second joint; and (C) placing the first joint on the second joint, holding a position of the first case on the second case, and then heating the first joint, the second joint, and the joint layer.
