    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of an endoscope having a light emitting device on the tip as an illuminating means. SOLUTION: A part up to reaching the vicinity of a boundary with a curved part 14 in a flexible part 15 via the curved part 14 from at least a tip part 13 of lead wires 132 for supplying electric power to a white LED 130, is covered with housing tubes 133. The lead wires 132 are respectively independently arranged one by one in the housing tubes 133. The lead wires 132 are arranged so as to loosen in the respectively housed housing tubes 133 in the part reaching the vicinity of the boundary with the curved part 14 in the flexible part 15 from a part soldered to the white LED 130. In the flexible part 15, the respective lead wires 132 are adhered and fixed by a prescribed adhesive 139 to a part of an inner peripheral surface of the housing tubes 133 so as to maintain a loose stats. The housing tubes 133 are formed so that an inner diameter has the size of a degree capable of arranging the lead wires 132 in a loosened state in the lengthwise direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope not generating the damage to flexible built-in matters even if used over a long period of time by preventing the flexible built-in matters from getting over the wire guides in a curved pipe. SOLUTION: A plurality of wire guides 24 are provided to the inner peripheral surface of the curved pipe 2 in an inwardly protruded state and a getting- over regulation member 30, which inwardly protrudes from the inner peripheral surface of the curved pipe 2 largely as compared with the wire guides 24 to regulate the getting-over of the flexible built-in matters 7, 9 and 10, is arranged at the position between the wire guides 24. Alternatively, in such a case that the space not permitting the flexible built-in matters 7, 9 and 10 to pass is present along the wire guides 24, a space occupying member 40, which occupies the space to regulate the movement of the flexible built-in matters 7, 9 and 10 to the space, is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the curved pipe 2.
