摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a colored glass without containing any bubbles by predissolving a solid colorant in a liquid, subjecting the resultant dissolved colorant to decompressing and defoaming treatment and then mixing the prepared colorant with molten glass. CONSTITUTION:A solid colorant (20A) is dissolved in a dissolving vessel 20 of a dissolving means 12 and bubbles and occluded gases contained in the dissolved colorant (T) are then removed by a decompressing and defoaming means 14. The flow rate of the dissolved colorant (T) subjected to the defoaming treatment is subsequently controlled by a charging means 16 and a prescribed amount of the dissolved colorant (T) is charged into molten glass (G). The charged dissolved colorant (T) is then stirred with a mixing means 18 installed on the downstream side of the charging means 16 and homogeneously mixed into the molten glass (G).

To use pitch fluoride and a mixture of graphite fluoride with pitch fluoride are used as the positive electrode material of an organic electrolyte battery, conductive materials such as acetylene black, expanding graphite, and carbon black are properly mixed with binders such as polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene and molded. Hence, the drop of voltage in the initial stage of discharge peculiar to batteries having graphite fluoride as the positive electrode active materials, and moisture affecting the negative electrode can be preliminarily removed by the water repellency of pitch fluoride.

Although uses of high-strain point glass and low-expansion glass have recently been enlarged, these glasses usually have a high viscosity and the temperature within the forming region need to be raised. The Si3N4 or SiC is extremely stable at high temperatures. The apparatus for producing the float glass operable for a long period even if the glass is high-strain point glass or low-expansion glass car be provided by constructing the hangers therefrom.
