    • PURPOSE: To perform engagement of shear cut reinforcing bars without rectifying their end surfaces by a power tool such as a grinder and the like by making a joint harder than the reinforcing bars and providing a tapered part extended outside in the inlet inner surface of the joint. CONSTITUTION: The end surface 21 of a shear cut screw reinforcing bar 20 has a hanging part 22 entering the inside of one side of a diameter direction and a burr 23 protruding to the outside of the other side. Since the screw thread 11 of the inlet of a joint 10 is rolled to be lower, the end surface of the reinforcing bar 20 is slightly inserted into the entrance. The burr 23 of the end surface of the reinforcing bar 20 inserted into the entrance of the joint 10 is brought into contact with the tapered surface 13 of the joint 10. Then, by rotating either one of the reinforcing bar 20 and the joint 10, the burr 23 and the tapered surface 13 are shifted from each other. Since the tapered surface 13 is harder than the burr 23, the burr 23 is either rubbed out or crushed to be eliminated. When the burr 23 of the end surface 21 is thus rectified, the screw joint 24 of the reinforcing bar 20 is fitted in a screw groove 12.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and to reduce the cost by manufacturing a joint screw reinforced steel. CONSTITUTION:A screwed projection is formed in a working part 11 of a core metal. The working part 11 is loosely inserted into a through-hole 21 in a base stock 20 and this is set to a lower die 31 in a pressing device. The base stock 20 is plastically deformed by pressing with the lower die 3 and an upper die 32 to form the cross sectional shape in the outer peripheral surface of the base stock 20 to a hexagon. At the same time, the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 21 is brought into pressurized contact with the outer peripheral surface of the working part 11 to form a screwed groove on the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 21. This base stock 20 is laid on a table 41 in the other pressing device, and by pressing with a hammer 42, a gap 50 is formed between the screwed groove in the base stock 20 and the screwed projection in the working part 11. By forming the gap 50, the working part 11 can be made to rotate to the base stock 20, and the working part 11 can be pulled out from the base stock 20.
