    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a hologram with a small-size and low-cost structure of the device without causing problems of vibration. SOLUTION: Pulsed laser light is repeatedly emitted from a light source 10 driven by a pulsed current and the laser light emitting from the light source 10 is branched into two beams by a half mirror 20. The laser light reflected by the half mirror 20 is spatially modulated by a spatial optical modulating element 36 and the modulated laser light is made incident on a local region on a photosensitive material 2 as object light. Also, laser light passed through the half mirror 20 is made incident on the local region on the photosensitive material 2 as reference light. The photosensitive material 2 is relatively moved in the direction parallel to the plane of the photosensitive material 2 with respect to the object light optical system and the referential light optical system which the laser light is not emitted from the light source 10 so that the object light and the reference light enter the local region where an element hologram is to be formed next in the photosensitive material 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form a Lippmann type hologram with which a color reconstructed image suppressed in color shift and distortion is obtainable with a white illumination light by using coherence light of a single wavelength by causing the interference of the object light and reference light calculated by a specific method on a photosensitive material at the incident angles calculated by a specific method. SOLUTION: The respective incident angles of the reference light and object light for the first direction on the photosensitive material and the respective incident angles of the reference light and object light for the second direction orthogonal therewith are calculated in accordance with the condition equation of the two-dimensional hologram and the condition equation of the three-dimensional hologram (S11 to 13). The incident angle of the object light is so controlled as to deal with the exit angle of the object reconstruction light or the reconstruction object information dealing with the exit angle of the object reconstruction light is converted to the incident object information dealing with the incident angle of the object light (S14). The interference of the object light and the reference light is caused on the photosensitive material at the incident angles calculated in S11 to 13, by which the Lippmann hologram is recorded (S15).

SOLUTION: In this hologram creating device, a multiple view point planar image is displayed on a liquid crystal panel 14 according to each region in which an element hologram of a photosensitive material 17 is recorded, and an image having a transmission region according to the position of the region is displayed on a liquid crystal panel 16. One of laser beams emitted from a laser beam source 10 and branched into two by a half-mirror 13 is amplitude- modulated by the liquid crystal panel 14, and diffused by a diffuser 15, and made incident on the region of the photosensitive material 17 corresponding to the transmission region displayed on the liquid crystal panel 16 as an object beam. The other laser beam halved by the half-mirror 13 is made incident on the region of the photosensitive material 17 corresponding to the transmission region displayed on the liquid crystal panel 16 as a reference beam. The object beam and the reference beam made incident on the photosensitive material 17 are interfered with each other and an element hologram is recorded.

SOLUTION: An image is presented to a spatial optical modulation element 10 corresponding to the position of the local area of photosensitive material 19 regulated by the aperture of a slit 18. Object light emitted from the element 10 successively passes through a lens 11, the aperture of a spatial filter 12, a lens 13, a one-dimensional lens array 14, a lens 15, a lens 16, a cylindrical lens 17 and the aperture of the slit 18, and is made incident on the local area of the material 19 at a specified incident angle after high-order diffracted light is removed. A reference light is made incident on the local area of the material 19 from the rear of the material 19. In the local area of the material 19, the object light and the reference light interfere with each other and an element hologram is recorded. Thereafter, the material 19 is moved in an x-axis direction and the element hologram is similarly recorded in the adjacent local area.

    • A pulsed laser beam is repeatedly output from a pulse current driven light source (10), and the laser beam output from this light source (10) is two-branched by a half mirror (20). While a laser beam is not output from the light source (10), the photosensitive material (2) is relatively moved in parallel with the face of the photosensitive material (2) so that the object light and the reference light may enter a next local region on the photosensitive material (2) where a hologram is to be formed.
