摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of the segment for comminution of fibrous materials and to facilitate its mounting by forming the cross section of the segment to a T-shape and constituting the segment of a slim stem and flange and a projection forming a mounting base part continuous at a prescribed angle with the stem. CONSTITUTION: The segment 2' is formed to the hammer-like T-shape in cross section. This anchor projection 12 is mounted by housing the same into the recessed part of a rotor. The segment 2' has the slim stem 2" and a gradually slimmer flange 2''' and the ratio of the height of the segment 2' to the thickness D of the stem 2" is set at 1:3 to 1:9. The cross-section angle β of the transition surface from the stem 2" to the projection 12 is set at 15 to 75 deg., more preferably 55 deg.C and the cross section is made symmetrical with the center line with respect to the symmetrical axis running the projection 12. The thickness DF of the flange 2''' is made approximately equal to the thickness of the stem 2". Further, the boundary from the stem 2" to the flange 2''' and the projection 12 is formed to a radius of curvature of about 1.5 to 1 times the minimum thickness S of the flange 2'''.
