    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved container capable of adjusting pressure of vacuum generated through a hot-pack filling operation, imitating outer appearance of a glass container having a side wall not having any substantial structure and showing smooth glass-like outer appearance.SOLUTION: A plastic container has a bottom part 20 that is adapted for absorption of vacuum pressure. The bottom part of the container comprises a contact ring 34 for supporting the container at a surface of the bottom part, an upright wall 44 and a central part 36. The upright wall is adjacent to the contact ring and substantially encloses the contact ring. The central part is at least partially formed by a central raised bottom part 40 and a reversing ring 42 substantially enclosing the central raised bottom part. The central raised bottom part and the reversing ring can be moved so as to adjust force of vacuum generated in the container.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved plastic container which adjusts vacuum pressure produced by hot pack filling, and has a smooth glass-like appearance to imitate the appearance of a glass container with a side wall without a substantial structure. SOLUTION: The plastic container 10 includes a bottom part 20 adapted to vacuum pressure absorption. The bottom part 20 includes: a contact ring 34 on the surface of which the container rests; a standing wall; and a central portion. The standing wall is adjacent to the contact ring 34, almost surrounding the contact ring 34. The central portion is partially formed with a central raised bottom part 40 and an inverted ring 42 which almost surrounds the central raised bottom part 40.
