    • The beam-forming system and method for MBMS transmission are provided. The method includes: obtaining DoA information of each user through a uplink estimation; calculating beam-forming weight coefficients based on the obtained DoA information; generating a synthesized weight coefficient based on the beam-forming weight coefficients. The method further includes judging the number of the users. When judging that the number of the MBMS users is smaller than a predetermined threshold, the beam-forming weight coefficients are calculated according to all obtained DoA information. When judging that the number of the MBMS users is larger than the predetermined threshold, the obtained DoA information is firstly grouped and then one DoA information is selected from each group for calculating the beam-forming weight coefficients.

    • A method of accessing in an equipment of a communication network is proposed in the invention. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a message 2 from a base station, the message 2 being used for an assignment of resource to transmit a message 3, the assigned resource corresponding to N HARQ RTTs, where 1=N=8; and transmitting the message 3 only in part of the N HARQ RTTs. With the scheme of the invention, a MTC device selectively transmits the Msg3 in one/some HARQ RTT and maintains silence in another one/some HARQ RTT, thus the possibility of the occurrence of access collision with other UEs may be backed off, such that other UEs, particularly human-to-human UEs, may transmit the Msg3 normally. And the possibility of the occurrence of collision is reduced from the viewpoint of the user equipments in a network, reducing entirely the possibility of an access delay and access failure.

    • The present invention provides a solution of initiating one-to-many communication process by a network in a communication system. Firstly, a server sends a control signaling to the determined next-hop core network equipment. After receiving the control signaling, the core network equipment generates a paging message according to the control signaling, and determines a target access network equipment to send the paging message according to the content of the paging message. After receiving the paging message from the core network equipment, the access network equipment interprets the paging message into an air interface paging message and sends the air interface paging message. After receiving the paging message, the terminal equipment detects whether the identification information included in the paging message matches the terminal equipment. If so, the terminal equipment sends the reported data or performs call establishment with the network, according to paging reason indication information in the paging message.
