摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the discharge amount of harmful components and improve workability by shortening the time up to the proper control status when idling returns to the normal operation status. CONSTITUTION:An air fuel ratio controller compares the detection value of an exhaust gas sensor 2 with its set point. As a result, it controls a stepping motor 6 which is installed at the path on the way to both high and low speed air bleed entrances 4 and 5 of a carburetor 3 and negative-feedback-controls the air fuel ratio. In the case, a throttle opening sensor 12 is installed. A circuit which stops the operation of an actuator 6 due to a control circuit section 7 by the output of the sensor, as it is, and which holds the path area of the actuator 6, as in the previous idling status is also installed. Moreover, a cut-off valve 14 which is cut off in accordance with the throttle opening at idling is installed at the path on the way to the low speed air bleed entrance 5.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent intermittent flow of fuel by effecting air controlling of the device, which controls carburetor bleeding air by signals from the exhaust gas sensor, by the on-off type electromagnetic valve and the stepper motor. CONSTITUTION:An on-off type electromagnetic valve 11 and a stepper motor 8 are provided in the main and slow air bleeding passages 3, 4 of the carburetor 2 to adjust air rate. Both valve 11 and motor 8 are controlled by the control circuit 9 which receives signals from the exhaust gas sensor 6. Although, pulsations are generated in the fuel flow by opening or closing said electromganetic valve, at the device which is controlled only by the on-off electromagnetic sensor 11, any adverse effects can be prevented by placing, in juxtaposition, a motor 8 which operates continuously.

A rotor valve 10 is fixed to the shaft 11 in the step-motor 8, the inlet 14 is opened or shut mutually when the shaft rotates at a rotation of 1/8 in steps, the smaller the air fuel ratio, the larger relative period that the inlet 11 is opened. Consequently the air flow may be adjusted easily.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a secondary air pump which provide a small load to an engine in the case of an engine cooling, idling, gear shifting etc. CONSTITUTION:A membrane type air pump 16, which is divided into two spaces by a moving membrane 17, consists of a driving chamber 18 and a pump chamber 19 and the contents of the two chambers increase and decrease reciprocally due to the movement of the moving membrane 17. An atmosphere pressure and a negative pressure are alternately fed to the driving chamber 18 through a 3-way electromagnetic valve 15. A control circuit 11 outputs repeatedly a ON and OFF signals the 3-way electromagnetic valve 15 after receiving signals from a water temperature switch 13 or an idling detecting switch 14. The 3-way electromagnetic valve 15 feeds alternately a manifold negative pressure and the atmosphere pressure to the driving chamber 18 of the membrane type air pump 16 according to the ON and OFF signals. The device can thus provide a wider output surplus than conventional air pumps.
