Das Ventilelement (5) wird zusammen mit dem Ventilschaft (6), gegenüber dem Ventilsitz (4) bewegt, um einen Öffnungsbereich eines Messabschnitts (10) zu ändern, dabei einen Öffnungsgrad des Ventilelements (5) ändernd, um einen Durchfluss von AGR-Gas in dem Kanal (2) anzupassen. Das AGR-Ventil (1) weist eine hoch auflösende Durchflusskennlinie in einem kleinen Öffnungsbereich des Ventilelements (5) auf und große Durchflusskennlinie in einem großen Öffnungsbereich. Das Ventilelement (5) und der Ventilsitz (4) weisen eine vorbestimmte Form auf, um die Durchflusskennlinie zu veranlassen, sich im kleinen Öffnungsbereich stufenlos gekrümmt zu ändern.

The inlet of a second passage 44 passing the rotary valve stems 41, 45 is communicated with a second inlet 35, and the outlet of the second passage 44 is opened to the side face of the rotary valve body 38. When the outlet of the second passage 44 is communicated only with the second outlet 37, communication between the first inlet 34 and the second outlet 37 is cut off, and the first inlet 34 is communicated with the first outlet 36 by a first passage 43. CONSTITUTION:A butterfly-type valve element 2 is arranged in a valve housing 1 so that it can be rotated, and the flow of exhaust is controller by rotation of the valve element 2 by an actuator 8. A blade part 3 is formed on the edge of the valve element 2, and an adhered material adhered or formed on the inner surface of the valve housing 1 is scrapped by the blade part 3 at the time of rotation of the valve element 2. The valve element 2 will not be bitten in the adhered material adhered or formed on the inner surface of the valve housing, and the sealing characteristic at the time of full closing is thus improved.
