摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air distilling plant which can be constructed more easily and inexpensively by providing first and second assemblies, respectively, with an intermediate pressure column and a low pressure column and providing the plant with at least one liquid elevating means for producing a fluid flow between one column and a vaporizer/condenser. SOLUTION: The air distilling plant 1 comprises three assemblies including one juxtaposed to others wherein the first assembly 10 comprises an intermediate pressure column 2 and a vaporizer/condenser 4 disposed on top thereof, the second assembly 11 comprises a low pressure column 3 and a pump 6 and the third assembly 12 comprises a main heat exchange line 5. A duct 18 transports gaseous nitrogen from the head section of the intermediate pressure column 2 to the upper inlet of the vaporizer/condenser 4. A duct 19 returns condensed nitrogen from the lower outlet of the vaporizer/condenser 4 to the head section of the column 2. Liquid nitrogen to be vaporized is led out from the base section of the low pressure column 3 and transported through a duct 20 provided wit the pump 6 to the upper inlet of the vaporizer/condenser 4.
