摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving isolated cells, in particular primary cells, such as hepatocytes. SOLUTION: The method for preserving the cells includes attaching the cells to a gel comprising a hydrolysed gelatin and culturing the cells at a temperature of 0-15°C. The gel contains a cell medium and a thermally hydrolyzed gelatin in the preservation method. The cells are attached to the surface of the first gel layer and covered with the second gel layer so that the cells may be held between the two layers of the gel in the preservation method. The cells are mixed with the gel before it solidifies resulting in the cells being immobilized in the gel when the gel solidifies in the preservation method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
