    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens (IOL), especially, the IOL for inhibiting a cell from being introduced into the IOL from an eye or growing up and reducing glare within the eye. SOLUTION: The IOL is the intraocular lens for inhibiting the cell from growing up and reducing the glare by incident light, is arranged within the capsule-like bladder of an eyeball, and has optical parts which are center arranged so that light might be turned toward the direction of the retina of the eyeball. The optical parts have a central optical axis, a front surface, an opposed backward surface, a peripheral end, and a peripheral end, which is between the front surface and the backward surface and surrounds the optical parts. The peripheral end has a linear end surface, a convex-shaped part, which is a convex-shaped part, which smoothly harmonizes the front surface with the linear end surface and is not discontinuous, and has substantially larger curvature than that of the front surface on the peripheral end in order to reduce the glare by the incident light, and a peripheral end corner part, which is arranged in a discontinuous part between the linear end surface and the backward surface and is for controlling the growth of the cell.
