    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof coating structure capable of coping with slippage in the longitudinal direction of flexible joint elements of an immersed tube and in the sectional direction and attaining the internal side of a tunnel of a cut-off rubber of the flexible joint elements less than 75°C in a fire resistive test of 1,200°C 60 minutes based on an RABT curved line.
      SOLUTION: In the fireproof coating structure of the flexible joint elements 3 and 4 of the immersed tube constituted of the cut-off rubber 5 surrounding a joint means of the steel shells 1 and 2 and a joint element between the steel shells, the whole surface of the internal side of the tunnel is sealed so as to surround it by a rubber sheet 6 installed at a predetermined interval from the cut-off rubber, then, a high density heat insulation matting 9 formed by having a water vapor shielding sheet so as to surround the whole rubber sheet is so constructed that the sheet can form the internal side of the tunnel, and then, a heat absorbing pack layer 10 is constructed so as to surround the matting, and a heating expansion sheet 12 and a ceramic blanket 13 are laminated and constructed so as to surround the whole surface of the internal side of the tunnel of the heat absorbing pack layer so as to come into contact with the steel shells.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-proof covering member for cables capable of preventing the cables or cable protective members having the cables therein from being damaged by heating from the outside, and attaining high workability. SOLUTION: This fire-proof covering member for the cables consists of a first thermal insulating material layer which is jointed to the outsides of the cables or the cable protective members having the cables therein, and has a heat resistant film for inhibiting steam from passing through one or both of the inner surface and/or the outer surface thereof, an endothermic material storing bag formed on the outer peripheries of the first thermal insulating material layers, and a second thermal insulating material layer provided on the outer periphery of the endothermic material storing bag. In the fire-proof covering member, the endothermic material storing bag is formed by containing inner bags for encapsulating coolant which dissolves in water and generates an endothermic reaction and water, water gelled by water-absorbing resin or moisture crystalline compound, or encapsulating water, water gelled by water- absorbing resin or moisture crystalline compound, and coolant which dissolves in water and generates an endothermic reaction.
