    • The present disclosure provides for a micro-needle device (100, 200, 300, 400) that includes a micro-needle array (102, 202, 302, 402) and a liquid connection port (104, 204, 304, 404). The micro-needle array includes a base (106, 206, 306, 406), a sidewall (108, 208, 308, 408) and a top (110, 210, 310, 410), where the base includes two or more of an elongate micro-needle (112, 212, 312, 412) having an interior surface (114, 214, 314, 414) defining an opening 8116, 216, 316, 416) through the elongate micro-needle. The base has a first major surface (118, 218, 318, 418) and a second major surface (120, 220, 320, 420) through which the opening of the elongate micro-needle passes to provide a passage across the base. The top has an interior surface (122, 222, 322, 422) and the sidewall has an interior surface (126, 226, 326, 426), where the interior surface of the side wall, the interior surface of the top and the first major surface of the base define a volume (130, 230, 330, 430). The liquid connection port has a fluid connection with the volume of the micro-needle array such that dental local anesthetic fed through the connection port can exit through the opening of the elongate micro-needle.

    • A dispenser for a pasty material has a container, a cover and a handle. The dispenser is operable by twisting the cover and the handle relative to each other in a dispensing direction for dispensing material and, alternatively, in an opposite closing direction. The container having an outlet for the material and the cover having a dispensing opening. The container and the cover are arranged relative to each other for a rotation between a closed position, in which the cover closes the outlet, and an open position, in which the dispensing opening opens the outlet. A first engagement mechanism is provided for enabling the container and the handle to engage with each other in at least one angular position during twisting in the closing direction. The first engagement mechanism further forming a freewheel mechanism with respect to a rotation in the dispensing direction. The first engagement mechanism has a first snap-stop for providing the engagement between the handle and the container and for impeded disengagement when engaged. A second engagement mechanism is provided for enabling the rotation of the container and the cover in an angular range between the closed position and the open position and restricting a rotation outside that range. The second engagement mechanism has a second snap-stop for providing the restriction between the container and the cover with respect to a twisting toward the dispensing direction and providing for an impeded disengagement when engaged in the open position. The first snap-stop provides for an impeding force to be overcome for disengagement and the second snap-stop provides for a snap-in force to be overcome for engagement. The first and second snap-stop are configured such that the impeding force is greater than the snap-in force.

    • A pen-like dispenser for dispensing a dental material has a handle and a cover which are attached for rotation relative to each other about a longitudinal axis of the dispenser, and a cartridge for holding the dental material and a screw plunger for extruding the dental material from the cartridge by screwing action. The cartridge and the cover in combination form a rotary slide valve which is operable by rotation about the longitudinal axis between a storage position, in which the cover closes a dispensing outlet of the cartridge, and a dispensing position, in which an opening in the cover opens the dispensing outlet of the cartridge. A relative rotation between the screw plunger and the handle about the longitudinal axis is restricted, and a relative rotation between the cartridge and the cover about the longitudinal axis is enabled within a predetermined rotation angle and restricted otherwise.
