摘要： A non-invasive method for measuring blood flow in principal vessels of a heart of a subject is provided. The method includes illuminating a region of interest in the heart with a coherent light source, wherein the coherent light source has a wavelength of from about 600 nm to about 1100 nm; sequentially acquiring at least two speckle images of the region of interest in the heart during a fixed time period, wherein sequentially acquiring the at least two speckle images comprises acquiring the at least two speckle images in synchronization with motion of the heart of the subject; and electronically processing the at least two acquired speckle images based on the temporal variation of the pixel intensities in the at least two acquired speckle images to generate a laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) image and determine spatial distribution of blood flow rate in the principal vessels and quantify perfusion distribution in tissue in the region of interest in the heart from the LSCI image.

Light transmittance through the plurality of pixels 42 may increase monotonically with gray scale voltage. Each string may include light emitting diodes from a different color bin, and the respective driving strengths may be adjusted, for example, through pulse width modulation or amplitude modulation, to maintain the target white point. In certain embodiments, the driving strengths may be adjusted to compensate for shifts in the white point that may occur due to temperature or aging. A controller 70 may adjust the driving strengths based on feedback from a temperature sensor, from an optical sensor 76, from a user input, or from calibration data included within the backlight or system.

In accordance with aspects of the present technique, single-domain unit pixels 60 are angled or tilted in differing directions with respect to a vertical axis of the LCD panel (e.g., y-axis) to provide an alternating and/or periodic arrangement of different-angled pixel electrodes 110 along each scanning line, data line, or a combination of both scanning and data lines. In this manner, the transmittance rates of conventional single-domain LCD panels 34 may be retained while providing for improved viewing angle and color shift properties typical of conventional multi-domain LCD panels.

A reflected light image of the structured light beam is detected from the sample. A measured reflectance image of the structured light beam for the sample is determined based on the reflected light image and a reflectance standard. The following parameters are determined: absorption coefficients ÿa, scattering coefficient ÿs and anisotropy factor g of the sample from the reflectance image. A size parameter of the embedded region is estimated based on the absorption coefficients ÿa, scattering coefficient ÿs and/or anisotropy factor g of the sample from the measured reflectance image.

The apparatus comprises a first bracket, a second bracket, a first supporting element, a sucking disc and a second supporting element. The first bracket is configured to store a first set of petri dishes arranged in a stack. The second bracket is configured to store a second set of petri dishes arranged in a stack. The first supporting element is arranged below the first bracket and configured to be driven by a first cylinder to move towards the first bracket along a first direction and support a first petri dish of the first set of petri dishes, the first petri dish comprising a dish body and a lid covering the dish body. The sucking disc is configured to suck the lid such that the dish body grasped by a robot can be separated from the lid and transferred to a platform to receive a fluid and can be mounted onto the lid after receiving the fluid. The second supporting element is arranged below the second bracket and configured to be driven by a second cylinder to move towards the second bracket along a second direction, the second supporting element being configured to support the first petri dish after receiving the fluid and place the first petri dish into the second bracket. According to the example embodiments, the handling of the petri dishes can be carried out automatically and efficiently. The system comprises the apparatus and a robot comprising an arm configured to move and handle the first petri dish.
