    • The present disclosure relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising: a) a multi-arm block copolymer of the formula Q n -Y, wherein: (i) Q represents an arm of the multi-arm block copolymer and each arm independently has the formula G-R, (ii) n represents the number of arms and is a whole number of at least 3, and (iii) Y is the residue of a multifunctional coupling agent, wherein each R is a rubbery block comprising a polymerized conjugated diene, a hydrogenated derivative of a polymerized conjugated diene, or combinations thereof; and each G is a glassy block comprising a polymerized monovinyl aromatic monomer; b) a polymeric plasticizer having a weight average molecular weight M w comprised between 10.000 and 100.000 g/mol; c) at least one hydrocarbon tackifier which is primarily compatible with the rubbery blocks; d) a glassy block compatible aromatic resin having a softening point value (RBSP) of at least 150C, when measured by the ring and ball test method described in the experimental section; and e) optionally, a linear block copolymer of the formula L-(G) m , wherein L is a rubbery block comprising a polymerized olefin, a polymerized conjugated diene, a hydrogenated derivative of a polymerized conjugated diene, or any combinations thereof; and wherein m is 1 or 2. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such a pressure sensitive adhesive and uses thereof.

    • The present disclosure relates to a multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly comprising a polymeric foam layer and a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer adjacent to the polymeric foam layer, wherein first the pressure sensitive adhesive comprises: a) a multi-arm block copolymer of the formula Q n -Y, wherein: (i) Q represents an arm of the multi-arm block copolymer and each arm independently has the formula G-R, (ii) n represents the number of arms and is a whole number of at least 3, and (iii) Y is the residue of a multifunctional coupling agent, wherein each R is a rubbery block comprising a polymerized conjugated diene, a hydrogenated derivative of a polymerized conjugated diene, or combinations thereof; and each G is a glassy block comprising a polymerized monovinyl aromatic monomer; b) a polymeric plasticizer having a weight average molecular weight Mw of at least 10.000 g/mol; c) at least one hydrocarbon tackifier, wherein the hydrocarbon tackifier(s) have a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) value of less than 1000 ppm, when measured by thermogravimetric analysis according to the weight loss test methods described in the experimental section; and d) optionally, a linear block copolymer of the formula L-(G) m , wherein L is a rubbery block comprising a polymerized olefin, a polymerized conjugated diene, a hydrogenated derivative of a polymerized conjugated diene, or any combinations thereof; and wherein m is 1 or 2; wherein the multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly is obtained by hotmelt co-extrusion of the polymeric foam layer and the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such a multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly and uses thereof.

    • A multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) film having a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer for bonding glass substrates and at least a second opposing layer, the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer being a polymerization reaction product of a precursor comprising a monomer or a partially prepolymerized monomer, in particular a (meth)acrylate based monomer, having a curable ethylenically unsaturated group, whereas the precursor further comprises an oligomeric organofunctional silane having at least 2 Si atoms, in particular 2 to 10 Si atoms, • wherein the monomer having a curable ethylenically unsaturated further has a coupling group with a Zerewitinow-active H-atom and wherein the oligomeric organofunctional silane has at least one coupling group which is reactive to the coupling group of the monomer having a curable ethylenically unsaturated group, or • wherein the oligomeric organofunctional silane has at least one coupling group with a Zerewitinow-active H-atom and wherein the monomer having a curable ethylenically unstaurated further has a coupling group which is reactive to the coupling group of the oligomeric organofunctional silane; • with the proviso that if the monomer having a curable ethylenically unsaturated group further has a coupling group with a Zerewitinow-active H-atom which is selected to be -OH, then the coupling group of the oligomeric organofunctional silane which is reactive to the coupling group of the monomer having a curable ethylene group cannot be selected to be an amino group.
