    • PURPOSE: A single motor type electric column device is provided to simplify the structure of a tilt unit and a tele unit through integrating motors for a tilt unit and a tele unit into one motor. CONSTITUTION: A single motor type electric column device comprises an integration motor(5), a moving rod(7), a tilting unit(10), a tele unit(20), and a tilt/tele recognizer. The integration motor is coupled with a mounting bracket(2) installed in a vehicle body. The moving rod is supported at least one portion by a column tube. The tilting unit comprises a tilt clutch(11) converting the rotation power of a moving rod through controlling of an integration motor ECU(Electronic Control Unit). The tele unit comprises a tele clutch(21) converting the rotation power of a moving rod through controlling of an integration motor ECU. The tilt/tele recognizer detects the movement of the tilting unit and tele unit. The detected movement of the tilting unit and tele unit is transferred to the integration motor ECU(4) through the tilt/tele recognizer.

    • PURPOSE: A steering system of a vehicle is provided to support a steering system strongly and to heighten the strength by applying a link to a lower support structure of the existing link type motor driven title steering system. CONSTITUTION: A steering system of a vehicle comprises: a first column member(10) supported to the rear end of a steering shaft, and placing the shaking center of a chassis to the front and supporting to be shakable around a first hinge shaft(H1) which is the shaking center; a fixing bracket supporting the first column member between a pair of retainers(21) extended downward and put opposite to each other, and fixing the upper part to the chassis; a second hinge shaft(H2) arranged among a pair of the retainers of the fixing bracket and the first column member, moving the first column member to be shakable vertically, and placed on the upper rear end of a movable bracket; a pair of movable brackets(30) formed in the inverse triangular shape and provided with a third hinge shaft(H3) placed on the upper front end of the movable bracket; a fourth hinge shaft(H4) placed on the lower part of the fixing bracket to revolve the third hinge shaft upward on the second hinge shaft of the fixing bracket; a fifth hinge shaft(H5) placed on the lower part of the retainer of the first column member; and a driving mechanism(50) provided with an advance and retreat type rod(51) coupled to the fifth hinge to regulate the distance between the fourth hinge shaft and the fifth hinge shaft.

CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel unit comprises a horn cover(100), a skirt(105), a EA foam(110), a support plate, a venting leg, a moving case, a guide, and a spring. The outer side of the horn cover is pushed by a driver to sound a horn. The skirt is formed to be covered edges of the EA foam and a slit is formed in one side. The EA foam is arranged in the inner space of the skirt in the lower part of the horn cover. The support plate is installed in the lower part of the EA foam and supports the EA foam to the up by the venting leg. The venting leg supports the EA foam towards the horn cover. The venting leg forms an impact absorption space between the EA foam and the upper part of the moving case. The moving case supports the venting leg. The guide is fixed in the lower part of the moving case. The spring is arranged coping with the guide and elastically support the upper part of the moving case.
