    • PURPOSE: A using method for a compound for simultaneously enhancing the production and product quality of an algae biomass is provided to control a harmful or competitive organism, to promote the growth of target algae, and to obtain a large amount of high quality algae biomass. CONSTITUTION: A composition for culturing microalgae or preventing harmful algae is treated with a natural product containing vegetable essential oil as an active ingredient when culturing microalgae. The active ingredient is selected from basil, carvacrol, cinnamon oil, citronella, clary sage, clove oil, cypress, cashew nut oil(CNSL), eucalyptus(GROD), eugenol, fennel, geraniol, geranium, lemon, lemongrass, linseed oil, manuka oil, methyl jasmonate, neem oil, orange, oregano, pelargonic acid, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, sassafras oil, sunflower oil, tarragon oil, terpineol, trans-anethole, and thymol.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing hydrolysate highly containing glucose from algae biomass is provided to prevent sharp rise of food price and to enable easy biochemical/chemical saccharification. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing hydrolysate highly containing glucose comprises: a step of hydrolyzing and chemical-hydrolyzing family Hydrodictyaceae without pretreatment; a step of centrifuging or filtering the hydrolysate to collect supernatant; and a step of concentrating the supernatant by drying at low pressure or membrane permeability evaporation. The hydrolysis catalyst includes an acid catalyst including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, bromic acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid, para-toluene sulfonic acid(PTSA) or solid acid, or an alkaline catalyst including potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, or ammonium solution.
