    • Provided is a method for manufacturing an epoxy nanocomposite material, which allows vapor phase-grown carbon nanofibers to be dispersed well in a matrix resin while not using solvent, and thus enables production of a nanocomposite material having excellent mechanical strength and friction and wear characteristics. The method for manufacturing an epoxy nanocomposite material comprises the steps of: physically mixing 100 parts by weight of an epoxy matrix resin with 0.1-2.5 parts by weight of vapor phase-grown carbon nanofibers as a reinforcing agent to obtain the dispersion; and adding a curing agent to the dispersion to cure it. In the method, the curing step comprises the steps of: curing at 70-100 deg,C for 20-30 minutes under a heating rate of 5 deg.C/min.; and curing at 140-160 deg.C for 90-120 minutes; and curing at 180-200 deg.C for 40-60 minutes.
