摘要： A method and an apparatus for optimizing a codebook for a quantized precoder by using a steepest descent algorithm are provided to minimize the maximum correlation of the codebook by optimizing the codebook through the steepest descent algorithm, thereby improving the bit error performance of the codebook. A method for optimizing a codebook comprises the following steps of: selecting a codebook to optimize(S610); changing each code word into code words of which the correlation is minimized between the code words by applying a steepest descent algorithm to the each code word of the selected codebook(S620); determining whether codebook including the changed code words is optimized(S640); and storing the codebook when it is determined that the codebook is optimized(S650).

CONSTITUTION: The first interference canceling unit(10) has a plurality of the first detectors(100) connected in parallel, a signal selector(200) and a subtractor(300). A plurality of the first detectors(100) receive a baseband signal. The signal selector(200) compares SIR(Signal to Interference Ratio) measurement values measured in a plurality of the first detectors(100) with a certain target SIR, and selects a reproduction signal reproduced in the first detector in which the SIR measurement value is greater than the target SIR. The subtractor(300) subtracts the reproduction signal selected in the signal selector(200) from the baseband signal. A last judging unit(20) receives the signal outputted from the first interference canceling unit(10), and performs hard bit decision.

摘要： A transmission apparatus for a DS/CDMA system including a multiple-input multiple output MIMO antenna system is disclosed. The apparatus includes a transmitter for transmitting data by applying a different scramble code to each transmitted data through a plurality of transmitting antennas. The apparatus also includes a receiver for receiving the transmitted data by obtaining a diversity gain based on the maximum order of the diversity in order to effectively detect the data. The present invention achieves an excellent detection performance by receiving data with a full order of diversity, which is a multiple of the number of receiving antennas and the number of multipath, without complicated operation such as a decision feed equalizer.
