    • A method of receiving system information in a mobile communication system is provided to recognize system information change by using a DCCH(Dedicated Control Channel), thereby shortening time delay due to unnecessary channel setting. A dedicated paging message is received from a base station. A change fact of system information is notified through the dedicated paging message. A lower layer channel for receiving the changed system information is set. One or more system change information transmitted from the base station is received through the set channel. A parameter and a channel of a lower layer are reset by using the received system change information. Data communication is performed through the resetting and a discontinuous receiving procedure is performed.

    • 본 발명은 차세대 이동 통신 시스템에 관한 것으로, 특히 무선자원 제어(Radio Resource Control)계층이 연결되어 있는 단말과 기지국간의 변경된 시스템 정보의 송,수신 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명은 기지국과 연결 상태에 놓여 있는 단말이 이미 설정된 전용제어채널(DCCH)을 통해 기지국으로부터 시스템 정보 변경 사실과 시스템 정보의 일부 내용을 통지받으면, 그 변경된 시스템 정보 수신을 위해 하위 계층(PHY/MAC/RLC)의 채널을 하향링크 공유채널(DBCCH:DL-SCH)로 설정하여 변경된 시스템 정보를 모두 수신한다. 그리고 그 수신된 정보를 이용하여 다시 하위 계층인 L1/L2 계층의 L1 파라미터 및 채널을 설정하여 데이터 통신 및 불연속 수신 동작을 계속 수행한다.
      따라서 본 발명은 전용제어채널(DCCH)을 이용하여 시스템 정보 변경을 인지할 수 있으므로 불필요한 채널 설정에 따른 지연시간을 단축시킬 수 있으며, 주기적인 채널 복조에 따라 소비되는 전력 역시 줄일 수 있는 효과를 얻게 되는 것이다.

    • An inter-system handover method of a multi-mode terminal is provided to perform handover between systems by adding the least procedure by using a radio access protocol having the existing wide area coverage as it is. A handover request message is received from a terminal(100). A handover preparation request message including a network address of the terminal is transmitted to the second wireless access system based on the handover request message. A handover preparation complete message including multicast group information generated by the second wireless access system based on the network address of the terminal is received.
