    • PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for retransmission are provided to complete the procedure related to data transmission in data transmission at a rapid point. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(200) receives a data burst transmitted from a base station(100)(S510), and determines a feedback frame offset among the set range based on the division information of the frame. The feedback frame offset is determined according to the location range of a downlink subframe index of the data burst. The transmission point of the feedback signal is determined based on the feedback frame offset(S520), and the terminal transfers the feedback signal to the base station at the determination point(S530).

    • PURPOSE: A packet transmission method divided in a mobile communication system and a system thereof are provided to reduce overhead by overlapping transmission of an IP header with overlapped division information about an upper link. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a divided packet is an end packet or not(S402,S403). In case the divided packet is not the end packet, the divided packet is successively saved in a buffer(S404). In case the divided packet is the end packet, the divided packet is reassembled(S405). The reassembled IP packet is transmitted to a base station. The reassembled IP packet is transmitted to a destination to be fragmented according to size of an MTU(Maximum Transfer Unit) in the base station.

    • A packet forwarding method during handover between base stations is provided to supply a data format in which a final time of a packet transmitted from a source base station is grasped during handover between base stations. A source base station transmits user data for handover to a target base station(S105). When a packet to be forwarded to the target base station from the source base station does not exist, control data indicating a final time of the forwarding packet is transmitted to the target base station(S110). The target base station recognizes that there are no packet to be forwarded from the control data(S120). The target base station immediately transmits a downlink packet received from a serving gateway to a terminal without a standby time(S130).
