    • PURPOSE: A system for controlling the pressure of a superconducting fault current limiter is provided to improve insulating performance of the superconducting fault current limiter by using gaseous nitrogen as pressing gas and to make an unmanned control of the pressure of the inside of a device cooling device by actively controlling the pressure of the gaseous nitrogen. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the pressure of a superconducting fault current limiter comprises an ultra-low cooling tank(100), a pressure sensor(400), a pressure sensor(400), a freezing device(300), a heat source(200), a pressure control system(500). The ultra-low cooling tank receives liquid nitrogen and gaseous nitrogen for maintaining a superconductor inside the superconducting fault current limiter at ultra-low temperature. The pressure sensor measures the pressure of the gaseous nitrogen and generates pressure information. The heat source heats the liquid nitrogen, thereby evaporating the liquid nitrogen into the gaseous nitrogen. The pressure control system compares the pressure information with reference pressure information set in advance and controls at least one of the heat source and the cooling device base on a difference of the reference pressure information and the pressure information.

    • PURPOSE: A superconductive element critical current measuring apparatus is provided to apply the excessively large amount of current to a conduction power device to degrade the device, or apply the excessively little amount in opposite to apply current to the proper level without dropping availability of the device. CONSTITUTION: A superconductive element critical current measuring apparatus comprises a right/left end voltage measuring unit(100), a differential unit(200), and a critical current measuring unit(300). The right/left end voltage measuring unit measures the right/left end voltage of a superconductor mounted on a superconducting element. The differential unit differentiates the current of the measured right/left end voltage. The critical current measuring unit measures a critical unit based on the result after removing resistance of a current lead-in line on the superconductor from the differentiated result of right/left end voltage.
