    • A method for preparing polysaccharides from Grifola frondosa is provided to obtain about more than 2 times amount of the polysaccharides compared to that of general culturing methods, reduce the cost for enzyme by directly culturing enzyme producing strains, and increase the solubility of the polysaccharides by cell wall destruction extraction during the enzyme treatment or the enzyme producing bacteria culturing as well as low-molecular weight effect of high molecule beta-glucan, thereby being able to increase the applicability to health foods. The method comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a polysaccharide by liquid-culturing Grifola frondosa strain in a culture medium containing 4% of glucose, 0.5% of an yeast extract, 0.5% of a malt extract, 0.1% of KH2PO4 and 0.05% of MgSO4; (b) feeding the culture medium in the middle of culturing thereto to increase the production of the polysaccharide; and (c) adding activated carbon to the production of polysaccharide to increase the production of the polysaccharide. During the culture solution isolation and purification, polysaccharides in the cell are further obtained through an enzyme reaction for destructing cell wall.
