    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for correcting a substance classification algorithm using X-ray computed tomography which can correct coefficients for use in the substance classification algorithm by obtaining an transmission image for an angle of a target object for correction by use of X-ray multiple energy, and reconstructing the computed tomography through the obtained transmission image. The apparatus according to the present invention includes an X-ray generator for irradiating the X-ray of at least two different multiple energies; a plurality of target objects for correction installed at a position spaced apart from the X-ray generator at a given distance and irradiated with the X-ray emitted from the X-ray generator; a rotating member for rotating the target object for correction at a constant speed; a linear array detector installed at a side opposite to the X-ray generator with respect to the target object for correction and sequentially obtaining the transmission image of the target objects for correction for every energy; and a correction unit for extracting the transmission image for every angle from the transmission image obtained by the linear array detector and reconstructing the computed tomography from the transmission image for every angle to correct the coefficient of the substance classification algorithm based on the computed tomography.

    • The present invention relates to a helical computed tomography system and a method. According to the present invention, provided are a multiple fan-beam helical computed tomography system and a computed tomography method using the same. X-ray sources face each other and locate around an object. An X-ray detector rotates around the object in order to scan the object. An X-ray beam passes through a collimator having a beam blocking slit which is vertical to a rotation shaft in order to obtain a projection image. The projection image obtained by using a compress-sensing based repetition type algorithm is reconstructed. The multiple fan-beam helical computed tomography system and the computed tomography method using the same can reduce the amount of exposed radiation for patients and medical teams caused during CT scanning compared with an existing CT apparatus.
