    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a metal oxide thin film is provided to avoid the restriction of substrate type and size without expensive equipment or starting materials, and to suppress interfacial reaction between an electrode and electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A colloid mixture sol of metal oxide comprises a salt solution containing metal oxide and metal oxide nanopowder particles of the same kind or different kind as or from the metal oxide. A method for preparing the metal oxide thin film comprises the steps of: (i) manufacturing a salt solution containing metal oxide; (ii) dispersing metal oxide nanopowder particles in the salt solution to prepare a colloid mixture sol of metal oxide; (iii) applying the colloid mixture sol to a substrate and drying it; (iv) applying the salt solution to the film and drying; and (v) heat-treating the resultant.

    • A method for preparing a porous metal oxide foam for an air electrode current collector interposed between an air electrode and a connector of a solid oxide fuel cell stack is provided to improve conductivity, chemical stability, gas penetration, mechanical strength and buffering property. A method for preparing a porous metal oxide foam for an air electrode current collector comprises the steps of coating a conductive metal oxide slurry on a porous polymer having a 3D network structure to prepare a polymer/metal oxide composite; heating the polymer/metal oxide composite to burn the polymer, thereby forming a porous metal oxide foam; and sintering the metal oxide foam. Preferably the porous polymer is any one selected from polyurethane, polystyrene and cellulose.
